The Pir@te Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 I am having the radiator leaking from the sides as you see in the picture and don't know what to go for.. Should I put a whole new one in or should I change the plastic covers on top of the radiator.. second thing is the alternator which I think is Dying AGAIN. This will be my fourth one to put in there. Is it only my problem or is it the heat in my country or is it my luck. ko90ls Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 if you radiator is cracked and leaking then you should buy a new radiator. don't really know the diff between plastic and metal tank except the plastic sound much lighter. I just got a new radiator for 260 but it is Koyo so i feel it's worth it. As for your Alternator, CHECK YOUR POWER STEERING PUMP! the hose is above the alt. and dripping fluid will kill the alternator.
