tresvatos
Can someone please post a photo or give some help with different ways to mount a 12" subwoofer in the space designed for the factory 10" subwoofer. I have read about baffles being mounted, but would like a picture to actually see how this is done. Also would it be much easier to just go with a 10" replacement? Thank you for the help!! 2006gs430newbie
I was wanting to put in an aftermarket 10" with a small amp to boost the bass a bit, but dont know how to get at the ML sub. i cant figure out how to get the grill off (think I broke a plastic clip trying) and the trunk liner does not give access to the sub. if anyone has done this, post some pics and directions... modifyit15
you have to remove the back seat then remove the rear deck, then you can remove the Sub. you will have to find a Free air sub to put in its place unless you build a box to fit up under the rear deck.
