aske
Hello all, I see a 'pinned TSB' at the top of this forum, and several discussions on how TSBs have solved issues with the 2007 lexus. I have a few basic questions: 1. Are TSBs like 'patches' that are applied to the car's software/hardware that fix problems ? 2. Do I need to go to my Lexus dealer to get them applied ? (I bought mine from Rockville Lexus, MD) 3. Do I need to tell them anything special ? 4. Do I need to pay for it ? 5. I bought my 2007 lexus on the 15th of September, and it just had 6 miles on it - would the TSBs have been applied already ? thanks
SW03ES
TSBs are called "technical service bulletins". They are releases from Lexus to the dealers with instructions how to remedy certain issues customers may have with their car. For instance if theres a rattle that the car commonly develops, if there's a difficulty with an alignment etc. No need to have a TSB performed unless your car is exhibiting the symptoms described within.
