Claude7629 Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I just purchased a 2008 RX350 and I was considering adding Mud Guards. Has anyone done this? If so are you pleased with the look and is it easy enough for a DIY install? Does anyone have any recomendations for an on line shopping site for OEM accessories for a 2008 RX350?
GDixon Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Do a search of this forum using a keyword for whatever you are looking for. Most everything Lexus is on LOC. I read a post on the mudguards that stated they are too small and don't do the job. A search turned up several links. Try: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...ic=34610&hl

I had the dealer throw these in for me on mine. It's a bit of a trademark for me: every car has/had them. A little disappointed they were not std equipment. I quite like them, although they aren't painted. They do keep the stuff off the car, to a degree. Haven't done a winter yet, which is where they really make a difference. But it's like any accessory; either you like them or you don't. For me, I like them. DIY is easy, but it's easier if they do it for you

I'll do the install myself. I couldn't justify the cost the dealer wanted.
