helijet3
Hi, I just bought a new 2007 GX470 two weeks ago. I parked it in the parking lot and someone hit my passenger side door with the edge of their door. It left three scratches on my door. I'm now looking for an effective way to repair those scratches. I'm considering on using the Lexus touch-up paint, but I figured out that the paint is not good at all. I searched on the Web and found another touch-up paint in which they claimed it to be effective. The website is http://drcolorchip.com/touchup-paint.html Can you guys give me some advices on this? The scratches look like three big chips. Thanks.
LexusGS400RacerX
Helijet, are these surface scratches? To check, try taking your finger nail, and feeling the scratch LIGHTLY! If your finger nail goes deep inside the scratch, I would recommend the surface paint for it. If the scratches are not deep, get a scratch remover. ( !Removed! to use though ). It's a liquid polish that you place onto the scratch, and use a towel in circular motion to rub out the scratch. Don't let it set in though. If it gets too dry, it'll be hard to get out.
