dunnda
First My Brake Wear Light came on, so I replace my front brake pads with after market pads. Now when I apply the brakes I get a pulsation pump on the brake peddle, I have replace the front right brake sensor. Then I replace the front rotors with after market rotors. I am still getting that pulsation pump on the brakes when I apply them. Ther no ABS light on. Can anyone tell me what is the problem is, do I need to replace the brakes pads with lexus pads? ROYT
I used to get this on my old Mercedes.........Look at each hub for the small disc that has edges like a castle wall. Make sure these are clean with no mud etc in the 'wall', each segment must be clean. Clean the sensor ends [ these are close to the 'wall'] at the same time. ABS works by 'seeing' the high and low steps of the wall, if the wheel locks the sensor 'sees' it and puts on the ABS system If they get full of mud etc the sensor 'sees' it as not revolving i.e wheel locked.
