Adding Resistor To Iat Sensor

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I bought this "performance chip" on ebay that turned out to be just a resistor. They claim that it improves acceleration. They say that I should connect it to the IAT sensor.

I can't even locate the IAT sensor. Anyone know where it is?

Anyone know if it is a good idea to add this resistor to the sensor?

Thanks,

Sam

The iat they refer to is the MAF signal.

It will not do anything to a toyota for more than 5 minutes.

The reason why toyotas are so reliable is because the ecu's responds to changes and makes new base lines . So it will work for a couple minutes and then revert back to normal again.
