atlantalexussc400
Hello, I bought this "performance chip" on ebay that turned out to be just a resistor. They claim that it improves acceleration. They say that I should connect it to the IAT sensor. I can't even locate the IAT sensor. Anyone know where it is? Anyone know if it is a good idea to add this resistor to the sensor? Thanks, Sam
seanysut
Hey, I actually have the same question and was wondering if you found out where the IAT sensor is located, how to install it or if its even safe to do? I bought the same performance chip off e-bay. Thanks, Sean
SKperformance
The iat they refer to is the MAF signal. It will not do anything to a toyota for more than 5 minutes. The reason why toyotas are so reliable is because the ecu's responds to changes and makes new base lines . So it will work for a couple minutes and then revert back to normal again.
