atlantalexussc400 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Hi there, There seems to be sockets in the engine compartment for traction control modules. Does anyone know if I can just buy the modules, plug them in and get traction control even if the car did not originally come with traction control? Thanks a bunch, Sam
lexus082 Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 You would have to replace many things. The throttle body is different on sc's equipped with traction control. The traction control ecu, the engine wire harness and many others. I don't think it would be worth it in my opinion. It would cost quite a bit.
UCF3 Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I'd opt'd for a 1.5 or 2.0 LSD and some better tires. What do you need Trac for anyway?

pwonder Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 ive got a 93 sc400 with traction control smashed sitting in my garage. I just bought a 92 sc400 without traction control. My question is, what exactly would have to be changed between the 2 engines in order for the trac engine to work in the sc without trac??
