Mike Bearden
On our 05m RX 330 the chrome bezel below the wood shifter knob is loose and there is about a quarter inch gap. Does anyone know how to correct this...the knob is tight and the bezel is loose.

Mike Bearden
I figured this out last night. What has happened is that someone has screwed the knob down too tight/far and the shaft is pushing the knob apart. Unscrew the knob...using a plastic tipped mallet tap on the bezel...the inside of the knob will slide back into the knob...may take a few taps and may need a little pressure. Then screw the knob back on the shifter careful not to screw it down too far...its pretty tight on the threads.
