  1. Waiting has not resolved my particular situation, I'll be taking the RX330 for service and will share my problem/solution for the forums future reference. Many thanks for your support
  2. I have this same issue today, changed the battery and now the back WINDOWs can't be controlled from the DRIVER Door, what was the solution please? CA913
  3. Lexus is250 2006 I have changed my car battery, and now my WINDOWS wont open from DRIVER SIDE, they work when u open them each individually. Is this something i can reset or fix myself ? Thank you
  4. I called the local dealer, they recommended starting the vehicle and then going to each window and opening and closing the window three consecutive times, all the while holding the button up/down while in the process of opening/closing the windows. The theory was it would reset the system. I did and it did not work. Again, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  5. A few weeks ago, my car sat for three days in the heat (90-100 degrees) outside, which is not usually the case, it's normally garaged. Anyhow the battery died and my husband had to jump my Lexus RX330 several times to use it, until we had the chance 2 days later to aquire a new battery. The new battery is in, but (coinsidently or not...) From the drive door controls the back windows won't open. The Windows are working fine when the controls on the back doors are used. The manual does not make mention of a fuse that is limited to my situation. Any thoughts as to what I might check other than the fuses before heading off to the dealer. Looking forward to any recommendations, Many thanks. CA913.
  6. Good day to all, I'm relatively new to the Lexus ownership world and don't know what I need to do to retrieve any service codes from my Rx330 can someone tell me the steps. I've a maint Required light and I'd like to know what codes the vehicles complaining about. Thanks
  7. I made some calls today based on the comments in this forum (Thanks to all). My insurance company too has a Glass Repair Department. I was told a crack under 6" in length or smaller than a dollar bill might be repaired. They also indicated that a repair is covered with no impact to my premium (Great). So with any luck a repair will be made tomorrow with no impact to my wallet. That would be wonderful in lue of $1400 to replace it via the Lexus dealer. Good luck to you.
  8. I justed called to Lexus in PA for my 2005 RX330 I have a crack in the passenger side, currently out of my line of sight. I was quoted $1400 for the windshield due to the Nav system and Rain Sensor. They strongly recommend I not use an OEM due to customer complaints that the rearview mirror has been reported to make noises with use of an OEM. I'm hoping to find out differently about OEM windshield for an 2005 RX330 with Nav and Rain sensor.
  9. I too have an 05' RX330 with the same problem. I plan to give your suggestion and try. Thanks for sharing
  10. Hello all, I just joined today. I purchased an 05' RX330 in January of 07 at which time the paint was in great shape. I picked up my SUV yesterday from the dealer and while looking it over, noticed all the paint chips on the bumper and hood. Once I get the chips cared for I need to detemine if a Bra, stick on bra or Bug shield are the best way to go. I've read the posting on the topic and would like to know what people are using and how satisfied are you with your choices. I was leaning toward the invisiblemask or stickercity until I read your posting on the dirt collection and contrast fading. Has anyone used the vynal clear bra kits for a year or more ? I'd hate to have my RX330 fixed only to end up with scratches or more chips. Thanks and looking forward to being a active member.
