BillyC
I am reposting this with a more descriptive title, since I was not getting any replies on the first try titled just "Airbags." Need to know how to disconnect the driver's airbag on a 1991 LS400 (We have some short drivers who must sit very close to the steering wheel). The fuse for the SRS airbag, et al, (#5 in the driver's kick panel) had been removed when I bought the car a few days ago. I wonder if it was removed intentionally, but I suspect that there is more to disconnecting the airbag than just removing a fuse. Besides, I would like to replace Fuse #5 so that the cigarette lighter outlet will work for recharging my cell phone. Thanks for any help you can provide.
