Es300 1995 Sluggish - Worse When Hot Outside

Hi All,

I have been reading the lexus service manual in addition to this forum to troubleshoot sluggishness problem with my ES300 1995.

I have cleaned Mass Air Flow sensor. It didn't help much.

Before I do more I wanted to ask if the following observation narrows down the things I should check.

Car is noticeably more sluggish when it is a hot day.

In addition, there is noticeable hum from the engine when I accelerate.

There is no hesitation while running.

There are no starting problems.

Does this point to a specific sensor?

I am having a similar problem with My ls 400 91 when its hot and the ac is on it looses power and wont regain power until the weather cools off.

I still havent found a solution yet.
