Norboo Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 What type of tires are good for smooth ride? I do not off road and live where we have 4 seasons. Washington DC area. Thank you.
mehullica Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Michelin Pilots are the best that I've seen for road use and wear life.
nomoon Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I just put on some of the new Toyo Versado LX tires. I am quite pleased with them so far. In addition to a smooth ride, I wanted tires that would be quiet and would stay quiet throughout the life of the tire. These are very quiet and are designed to stay quiet. We'll see. The Toyo TPT's were extremely loud when they got old.

Do you hear any harsh sounds coming into your car? Any complaints about traction or driving on slick surfaces? Thanks.. BOB
robsanden Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Are you thinking sport tires, or all seasons? For sport tires, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's rock and they perform just as well on wet pavement, all seasons probably Continentals IMHO.
