What type of tires are good for smooth ride? I do not off road and live where we have 4 seasons. Washington DC area.

Thank you.

Michelin Pilots are the best that I've seen for road use and wear life.

I just put on some of the new Toyo Versado LX tires. I am quite pleased with them so far. In addition to a smooth ride, I wanted tires that would be quiet and would stay quiet throughout the life of the tire. These are very quiet and are designed to stay quiet. We'll see. The Toyo TPT's were extremely loud when they got old.

Hi,

I have a question about your Toyo tires. How do they sound at highway speeds, say 70mph on concrete ? Do you hear any harsh sounds coming into your car? Any complaints about traction or driving on slick surfaces? Thanks.. BOB

Are you thinking sport tires, or all seasons? For sport tires, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's rock and they perform just as well on wet pavement, all seasons probably Continentals IMHO.
