Cpl Calli
okay...so...i got my 93 sc400 last year. $2,600 and 130,000... at the time it needed a new altenator(2of the3 bearings were bad) so i replaced that and the battery. the serpintine belt and tensioner, plugs and wires (NGK premium platnum plugs) and recently did tranny flush and used 10 qts of toyota dext4,needed lower control arms- TOYOTA SUPRA TT ARMS and replaced struts-with TOKIKO'S...she handles like a dream and i upped the wheels to some light weight 17" with 235/45/17Z rated tires....now here are my problems...1)the check engine light is on and when me and my buddy try to see what codes its throwing back the damn car doesnt tell! Could it be a fuse burnt out? previouse owner swapped radio-has an alpine 3 disc in dash changer-which skipps when i hit any bumps-even with new cd's in there. i think the aftermarket altenator is trash or there is a wiring problem b/c when lights are on and i signal, the PWR light flashes a little...basically i have same problems as every1 else...instrument cluster is dark amd my TRAC light and TRAC OFF/CHECK ENGINE lights are always on. i need a passenger door panel ASAP!!!!like yesterday! amd i want cloth/manual seats so i can sit lower (i am 6'4) oh yeah! when the headlights are off the temp screen lights up but headlights or park lamps on the screen is not illuminated. oh! forgot to mention i charged the a/c 3 times this summer already! it goes away within 36 hours and it gets hot in there when i run it. and why cant i find the online service manual for this damn car!?!? if anyone knows where i can get one other than a lexus dealership for 300bones please tell me! schott1984
http://techinfo.toyota.com/ Full FSM there. Pay $10 for a day subscription, open and save all the PDFs. Will take you a couple hours (it did for me) just because there's so many files to open and save. Well worth it though! I would be interested in a way to have lower seats as well. I still want leather though... Could the stock ones be lowered? I feel like a giant driving this car! haha.
Cpl Calli
i need the factory or online manual for my sc400 so i can find out how to remove the entire seat and seperate it from the rails. once i get the seat out i am pretty sure you can remove all the power seat mechanisms and get a set of rails for the seat from a same year supra. i am trying to use as many supra tt parts as i can since they're cheaper than lexus parts. whats that about ten bucks a day for a manual or something? where can i find some1 selling the pass side door panel (interior) mine is literally hanging on by a screw
schott1984
Dunno about the door panel, i think they run $500+ at lexus. Otherwise, ebay. The manual you want is at that website. http://techinfo.toyota.com You pay $10 for a day of access to the server, and you open and save all the pdfs of the factory service manual, and you have it forever.
