I have an '04 RX330 that has 43K miles on it.

The car sounds great when idling and when starting to move - from idle to about 10-15 mph.

When I accelerate to approx 20 mph and above, there is a drone/hum that becomes clearly audible, and then pretty loud as I speed up further.

The car functions great - no problems with response, fuel efficiency is at 20 mpg approx, everything seems great - but this drone has gotten louder, and I am worried this may be a very seer problem with transmission/bearings/dont know what else.

Can someone help? Am scheduling to take it into a dealer next week - but dont want to be charged an arm and a leg for this if possible.
