Air Force Rascal Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Has anyone changed a connecting rod on their SC400..I hear that you can replace it by going thru the oil pan without taking the engine out of the car...has anyone done this..? Thanks for any help...
jzz30 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 if you do go through the bottom end you would need to take the crank out. these kinds of "in depth" repairs are easier if you just pull the motor. why do you want to take the rods out anyway?

jzz30 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 no im not wrong you asked about taking it out through the oil pan. its impossible without taking the crank out... anyway how'd you bend the rod?
