baram0318 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I purchased MTEC HID kit for IS250. I tried to install it but then my HID kit does not come with rubber grommet... If I make an hole on dust cover, there is nothing I can close it. I heard that if I leave it open, the head light will get moistured in the future. I live in place where snows alot in winter. is it okay to put dust cover on top of the wires? I'm kind afraid of this too b/c the wires might get damaged... and blow up later?? IF you guys have any suggestion please reply!! THANK YOU!! That unit doesn't come with gromets. It's better to seal it yourself. Make as small a hole as possible and seal it up with silicone sealer.
