Ign. Power On Lead In Dome Light/sunroof Control?

Hello Gentlemen,

The stereo install continues. Today, I'm wrapping up the dash and glove box. I also wanted to hard wire my V1 radar detector up near the rear view mirror. I need to tap into a ignition on/off power lead up in the power sunroof contol area. Anyone ever done this? Any info on which wire to look for? All the ones I've tested are on continuous or power on when the sunroof motor runs. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Well,

After testing wire and switches, it seems the only way to go is to have a constant "on" lead. I picked the power to the driver side vanity mirror light on the sunvisor. I just turn the V1 on when I want it and off(hopefully) when I stop at my destination. It is a really clean way to have a radar setup, but ignition on/off would be the best. If anyone figures out a way, please, let us know. It'd be very easy to change.
