A Problem In My 1991 Ls 400...i Know Someone Can Help!

alright guys,

I would post this under a more "technical" category but I figured I would have a better shot posting this here for you Lexus guys who are more experienced with 1st Gen LS 400's (specifically, the 91 LS 400).

Early last week, a chip board behind my instrument cluster burnt out and started smoking, which in turn made the backlighting turn off also.

I immediately ordered a used 1992 LS 400 cluster online that came out of a (obviously) 1992 LS 400 WITH height control. My 1991 LS 400 did not come with height control, no biggie, I installed it anyway and everything went well (I even have that cool little neon green "height control" display on the bottom left of the cluster although I don't have height control lol). Everything works fine except for one noticeable thing...

...the airbag light is now permanently on, however, the airbag light never came on on my last cluster.

any ideas of why this might be happening? is it a problem? is there a way to fix it (or is it even necessary to fix it)?

experienced 1st Gen LS 400 owners, help a fellow LS4 brother out.
