James Tenbusch
Has anyone tried to install an HD radio receiver into an IS250 wth Nav system using exisiting system connections. If so, what unit did you install and how? I've seen some posts on how to install an satellite radio system, but I've heard the sound quality is better with HD radio instead of satellite because of bandwidth issues. I was setting the FM radio on my new IS250 with a fifth generation NAV unit last night, and the radio was able to tune to and receve a local San Diego HD FM station. The stereo sounds great is it is, and I have not been able to detect a real difference in the sound.

I asked my salesman point blank if they offerred HD radio like BMW and he flat out told me "nope". Are you absolutely possitive you were getting an HD station?
