F3DERAL
I have the same problem. I was thinking about sending it to http://www.lextech.org they fix it for $100 but I heard the needles burn out after a short time and JIBBY told me that it is possible to fix it by yourself by sothering LED's to the needles so im gonna try that instead. LLS
the needles do not burn out :whistles: lextech's needle failure rate is less than 3% over 3000 clusters+. geez, it's like people just say whatever they want these days.

murrayj1
I'm a recent owner of an SC400 with the same problems with the instrument cluster. A Lexus dealer informed me of http://www.mikadotechnology.com/ that rebuilds clusters. Am waiting to hear. Plus still interested in LLS. Anything else I need to know about the car? turbo6
any mods to the needels throws them off balance and them become un accurate, specialy speedo and rpm.
LLS
any mods to the needels throws them off balance and them become un accurate, specialy speedo and rpm. which is why you use a pro. Most backyard guy's throw their needles off by just replacing the backlight.
murrayj1
Two places that claim repair, Lextech Lighting Systems and Mikado Technology/Sammy WU (referred to by Lexus Dealer). Lextech can repair and change color schemes, Sammy just repairs. Both have e-mail contacts.
F3DERAL
I would send it to LexTech but I have a lot of stuff to fix on the SC and not a lot of money, I would try to fix it myself but now that you guys said it might throw the needles off I would not want to make the situation worst. Thanks for the information.
