djspawn00 Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 It was a nice day out today so i decided to take the knowledge i gained from this site and use it to do some minor maintenance. I went to the closest toyota dealership i could find, Millenia Toyota in Hempstead Long Island, to purchase some fluids. According to their sales rep they don't sell many toyota fluids... they don't even use it. (they did sell the coolant but also said they use valvoline brand products mostly) I was there for dexronIII or IV atf fluid to use as my power steering fluid. The person I spoke to said he's been there for 10 years and they just use ordinary PS fluid. I guess they can't make much off of toyota brand fluids, kinda makes you wonder what they charge so much for when they service your car.
