Cracked Exhaust Manifold

I see a number of cracked manifolds as a cause of different codes that come up with o2 sensor codes. Can more light be shed on the manifold situation, such as -location of cracks, how to go about searching for a possible crack, are these cast or steel and can they be successfully repaired, Thanks. 2000 RX 300.
