Wierd Warning Lights Problem

On my wife's '91 LS there is an intermittent problem with 4 of the warning lights in the dash display. They are the coolant level, oil level, battery and another I can't recall right now but... At any time while driving, these lights can come on all together and if the cruise is engaged, it will disengage it. Any thoughts?

maybe the alternator?

I do not think it is the alternator. I suspect that when you are turning on the key that the ignition switch is not being moved to exactly the right position. Sometimes if the key is just a little off wierd things can happen.

I'll bet it's the alternator. Have it checked.
