wilkie_is250 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Hello everyone, I installed HID eight months ago and I just got one problem in the headlight. There are a lot OF CONDENSATION in the driver side of headlight. I took it to dealer today and they said that they don't want to fix it since I installed it after market and it is not under warranty (is it true??). And they asked me to pay one hour labor charge since they just look at them. :cries: Can I fix it nicely??? :cries:
bartkat Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 They are right about the warranty since the headlight has been modified. Lexus recommends using a new gasket each time that back cover is removed. Also you have to seal up the hole where you put the wires through. You might be able to dry out the housing with a hair dryer and then reseal everything to keep moisture out.
