AZsc
I would love to find a good, trustworthy place that specializes in Lexus/Toyota service here in the Phoenix, AZ area...(other than the dealers) For both maintenance and some performance mods(exhaust, suspension, etc.) I tried the search function for this forum to try and find some info. but was unsuccessful... The only place I have found so far is "Dynamic Imports" in Tempe.(they seem pricey to me?) And Toyo-west in the glendale area, I talked to the owner and he was a complete !Removed!..i.e. one of those grumpy shop owners that acts bothered by anyone walking through the door... Anyone had any experience with this place? Should I give them another try? I would really appreciate any help you could give me.. Gryphon
I'm in Scottsdale, Ryan, and need some similar lead(s) for my RX400h and LS400. Tom
kyoso23
Hey guys. There's a place in the Airpark and also near the Tempe autoplex called "AZ Auto Doctor"used to be Rick Hall's. They have Acura/Lexus factory trained and certified techs and the labor is less than half of the dealer. If I don't plan on doing the work myself, I trust my vehicles to go to them (I prefer the one in Tempe as it's near my work and I know the guys down there kinda well). If you call the Tempe location, (480)345-1177 ask for Chris. He is super helpful and friendly. You can tell him that Kyle refered you. It probably wont save you any money, but it might speed up your service.

AZsc
YES!, Thank you Kyle. I really appreciate the help! BTW, what kind of wheels do you have on your SC? Are they 18's? Where did you get them?, price?, etc. Ryan Oops, nevermind Kyle. I just read your post regarding wheels... :chairshot:
AZsc
Kyle, I talked to Chris today, you were right, very nice guy and helpful. I made an appointment for Tues. Thanks again, Ryan
kyoso23
Cool. I hope they get you taken care of the right way. They've always done me right. BTW - The wheels are Niche F-18 20x8.5". Probably around $2500 after tires or so. I run 235/35/20 Nitto 555's in the front (stretched just a tad to clear with no rubbing) and 275/30/20 Nitto 555's in the rear w/ also no rubbing (the little plastic trim had to be removed on the rears to accomplish that. The car has Espelir ASD springs w/ Tokico blues.
