It might be your ISV (Idle Speed Valve) is bad. I had the same problem and my car was idle at 1600 for two months or so. Finally got it fixed and I was so happy. Check out the picture. They are pretty cheap from a local junk yard. Dealer will kill you with $650. You dont need the whole thing, just the spring loaded part. Secondly, you can take out your ISV and clean it with carb cleaner and use some muscle and loosen the spring. It might help.
