cmshoot Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 I've got a 2000 LS400 and haven't decide yet whether or not I want to build an air intake for it like I've seen some folks here do. If I decide not to, can I get any appreciable gains by simply insulating the air intake from engine heat?

Lexus has the air flow through the engine bay down to a science. The air flows in and over the top of the engine and down out the back under the car when in motion. The undercover has alot to do with this design.
