Is 250 - Does It Lock Itself If Left Unlocked?

Recommended Posts

Long time lurker, first time poster... I have a IS250 AWD that I purchased back in September.

SJG86 posted a question (which topic is now locked for some reason) about having the IS lock itself. Unfortunately the only response to that question was:

"Please try the search feature. There area already threads about this.

http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...Search&f=93

thanks"

I found this quite interesting and spent a few minutes trying to find the topic. What did I try?

- Lock Feature

- Lock

- Locking Car

- Locking Door

- Automatic Lock

- Auto Lock

- Door Lock

- Timed Lock

You get the point. Sure enough, nothing panned out with any of them. Which makes me wonder if SJG86 didn't already attempt to search for his answer?

If its too much trouble to provide an answer, perhaps a hint on what the best "search words" to use? How about a link to that ever-so-difficult-to-locate thread?

It's not that difficult.

One might expect that a long time lurker would have seen these threads. Now then, do you have any questions or anything of substance to add to the forum?

FYI. Reasons for locking threads may not always be obvious to the reader.
