How Much Pressure Do You Put In Your Tires?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I have an IS350, 18". The factory recommendation is 35 PSI - front, and 38 PSI - back. Is this good, or should I put more? One of my friend say I should put 40 PSI - front, and 43 PSI - back. Why is that better? Because he doesn't know... Thanks.

It's not necessarily better. Too much air the tires will wear out in the middle first. Not enough and they'll wear on the sides first. I find 37 F and 39 R to work out quite well. About 2 PSI over the factory recommended pressure is good for extended driving at highway speeds.
