i have a 97 es300 , i replaced the power steering belt, by going through the wheel well. i took a chance by lossening up a visible screw, it worked and slid relieving the tension.. i replaced yhe belt but cant get that screw to move again! was that the power steering thingy i moved, i pressed and pulled at everything. should i just tighten the screw "as is"? the belt seems tight, with little slack. Quick responses will be greatly appeciated, car is still apart, and i have curch tomorrow, the work monday, LOL. E-Z fix gone wrong! thanx in advance

What you do is take a long object & use it as a lever against something strong (Say like a suspension arm). Loosen the adjustment bolt, lever some good tension on the powersteering pump to really pull it pretty good. Hold it in plce & tighten the bolt.

It's alittlebit of a pain, but that's pretty much how you do it.
