Are Both Valve Cover Gaskets The Same ?

Hello, Im doing a bolth valve gaskets this weekend, and one store told me Left and Right gaskets, the other told me both top and rear are the same gasket! Which should I go with? Thanks in advanced

Dont they come in sets @ 10.00 each = $20.00 or more if they come with plug rings! What are the plug rings good for!?
