Any News On The New Sc 330

I have seen several magazines and online publications mention that there is an SC 330 coming out for 04. Can anyone confirm this and if so, when do you think it will hit the lots? I assume at first you will have to pre order them to get in line for one.

If they are coming out, do you think they will come equiped with regular tires to cut down on the cost, which of course would actually be better to drive anyway by all accounts?

I'd love to get an SC 430 but I'm not sure I want to spend that kind of money :) They haven't been out for long enough to sell for much less in the pre-owned market.

Thanks and you've got a great forum here!

Look just past the picture of the RX330 on this link, there is a mention of the new SC 330.

http://www.motortrend.com/future/spied/112...fvf/index3.html

It is supposed to be a 6cyl version of the SC430 for 04. This makes sense as a competitor to the SLK 230 and 320 and if it was in the $40s it could steal market share from most other convertibles I think.

Also here is more news on the car:

http://www.autospies.com/report040302.pdf

if you look at the bottom of page 4 there is info on problems with the roof of the SC430 and a mention of a date for the upcoming SC330 but they don't actually mention the date :)

Thanks

Well... I'll be. I heard the rumors before. A 3.3 v6. *!Removed! noise* Sorry - I had chili.

Seriously though, thanks for the links. I guess it is definitely coming by. I'd like to see a 9 spoke 18" wheel and a hard top non convertible from.
