Im always in the BMW now and never get into the Lexus anymore so Im always at my BMW forum trying to fix its few problems : ). Tonight on the LS i noticed the steering motor making a grinding sound when it was coming towards me and nothing when it went away. The problem seems to be in the 'back-forth' motor and not 'up-down'. Should I just take the cover off and spray some cleaner/lubricant or could it be the end of ths motor? Thanks!
