paulk721
Hi, I guess nobody knows anybody in the NJ area who can install HID kits. :( I'm about to tint my IS250AWD but I was wondering if it was necessary to install moleskin felt for the tinting? I know it is highly recommended for Acuras, but is it the same for the IS250? I'm wondering if it's worth the extra 100 bucks I've been quoted. Any info appreciated, thanks. Scott M
Moleskin felt?? I wondered the same, so I did a little digging. "Moleskin" is a replacement felt for the window strips... This is supposed to be a scratch resistent felt replacement to keep the tinted windows scratch free. Definition of MOLESKIN A heavy sateen-weave fabric made on a five-end or an eight-end satin construction with the use of heavy, soft-spun filling. The napped, sueded surface effect simulates the fur of a mole.
