torus Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Hi I have been facing a problem with my airconditioning unit when ever it rains. as i live in bangkok the roads sometimes flood to about 7 inches. anyway my problem is that when ever it rains and the roads flood even a little, my airconditioning stops working... is this normal or am i the only one facing this problem. thanks btw mine is a RX300 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When the drive belt gets wet the A/C compressor drive pulley slips and the A/C quits. Make sure the "splash" shield is still installed under the radiator/front engine area.
