jamesIS300 Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Hello everyone! Love my 02 IS 300 have had great luck with the car! But recently the drivers side HID headlight works and then doesn't work. It starts to work after you turn the headlight switch on and off on and off, it comes back on I seen a few other issues with this in this forum, if you could refer me to the answer or some advice I would greatly appreciate it! I have a few possiblities 1. The HID Blub going bad? I heard these last forever though! 2. The ballast is bad or going bad? 3. The relay for that side of the car is going bad? bartkat Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Could just be a bad bulb or bad connection. The first and easiest thing to do would be to pull the plug on the bulb and make sure all the connectors are clean. Put some dielectric grease on it and try it. If that doesn't work, try swapping parts from left to right, starting with the bulbs, one thing at a time until the problem is found.
