Hvac Error Code

Per the FAQ posted by SKperformance:

"You can do a diagnostic on the hvac system by pressing the auto button and the recirc button at the same time then turning the key to on

it will display any trouble codes if present

( post if it does and i will tell you what it means)"

I have done this and it comes up with a flashing code of 21 Could someone let me know what this means?

My only symptom is outside air flow through the driver's windshield vent. More air and noise with greater speed.

21 is the solar sensor but it always comes on when it is dark so it is not a problem.

Please explain what you are saying about the wind noise and speed .

Where, what speed how often and anything else to clarify what you mean?

The air flow I am referring to appears to be coming from only the driver's side windshield vent. It is not fan-driven but rather the amount of air (and noise!) coming in increases with the vehicle speed. The noise is almost like that of a cracked-open window.

The A/C system is off and the recirculation button is engaged. I see no controls that are on to cause the problem.

This happens everytime the vehicle is driven.

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere that needs to be traced on the car.
