huylanalexus Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Hi Everyone, I just switched to RX330 from my MDX. This is amazing car, so smoothly drive, luxury and MPG. I did 30k service by myself that inclued replacing A/C filter, engine filter, transmission fluid, engine oil. I'm thinking to replace front & rear differential fluid and coolant flush by dealer. Do you all think this is good time to do these or wait until 60k? I read the note under hood, there's no need to replace coolant until 100,000. Please give me an advice in this stuff. Thanks all
Lexusfreak Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Consider using synthetic for the front & rear diff fluids....what grade does the owners manual call for? I've use both Castrol Syntec & Mobil 1 75w90 in both of my Foresters (you are safe to use that grade if the manual calls for 80w90 btw as long as they meet GL-5 classification)......happy with the performance of both fluids & are safe for extended drain intervals.
