2002 SC 430 - I removed Nav DVD Version 3.1 and put in Version 4.2. But I got the error message "disk error", "cannot read disk".

Went to remove it, to see if it was scratched or what, but it will not eject. Any advice will be appreciated. hray

Hray: I am curious about updating th eNav system on my 2002 LS 430. Recently acquired and believe you can do this without taking to dealer - correct? Looking to determine Nav version on how to acuire the latest disk to update

Search this forum for instructions how to remove your DVD. Check out lexus-parts.com to determine the latest update available for your year model (follow the links). I believe it should be Version 5.1. Then scout out eBay for a good buy. Good Luck
