H Ray Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 2002 SC 430 - I removed Nav DVD Version 3.1 and put in Version 4.2. But I got the error message "disk error", "cannot read disk". Recently acquired and believe you can do this without taking to dealer - correct? Check out lexus-parts.com to determine the latest update available for your year model (follow the links). I believe it should be Version 5.1. Then scout out eBay for a good buy.
