  1. Thanks so much...I will carefully remove the old hot glue stuff and try the rubber cement!
  2. Did you get the disc out? I had this issue....the switch that actually opens the disc opening is also the button to eject it. Did you try pushing it?
  3. Here is the whole thread: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57794
  4. A previous post from ScottRoy: I can't say this will be true for your LS 430, but for my 2004, I tried pulling ECU fuses and that didn't work. When I pulled the battery negative cable off for a few minutes, then restored it, the nav system re-loaded. Apparently, there is another power line going to the ecu (to maintain the memory) that doesn't go through the indicated ECU fuses in mine. Maybe yours? I was worried I'd loose a bunch of memorized settings throughout the car, but only lost the previous destinations list. Not bad.
  5. Also. the tab that slide to open the compartment for the disc is also the button to eject the old old disc.
  6. Hi - I have a 2001 LS 430. I hot-glued the tear in the subwoofer to stop the buzzing, and this worked for a while. But the buzzing is back. Should I try to heat up the glue to get it off and re-glue? Or glue over it again? Any other ideas? Thanks, Stacy
