Hi:

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for some advice. I may be a bit parinoid, but.....I have a 01 GS300 53,000 miles on it..pretty nice condition..I noticed after driving it for the past 4 days that when in reverse it gives a "slight roll" and when accelerating as I increase speed it does a slow drag and then vrooom it take off! Is this something I  should be worried about? or is this common to this kind of make and car? I drove a 04 Camry LE for the last 8 months before getting this and besides a soft break and steering really nver noticed the acceleration "drag" and reverse roll?

Am I parinoid? or in trouble?

I appreciate the advice?

Is the hesitation after getting off the gas?

Most drive by wire systems have this type of issue. When you are cruising along and let go of the gas and push it again the tranny is waiting for further input to make sure it knows what you want before following through.

Taking it our of O/D and using it in pwr mode also alleviates the issue on my LS.
