CAM2 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I need help in giving advice to my girlfriend concerning Lexus wheels. She has a 2000 GS300 Platinum Edition, and also bought an extra set of GS300 chrome wheels/tires with the car. She wants to sell one of the sets now, prefers the look of the chrome ones, and wants to sell the ones that came with the car. I *think* the wheels that came with the car are unique to the Platinum package, but am not sure. Nor am I sure how valuable they are, if at all. Is there any reason to tell her to keep the original wheels, even though she likes the chrome set better?

If she ever wants to sell the car as a platinum edition the original wheels are a part of the package. Other than that it is personal taste. Welcome to the club
new big400 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 You could use them as winter wheels to keep the chrome clean.
KANEDL Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 You could use them as winter wheels to keep the chrome clean. Or she could just have the original wheels chromed.
