Re 99 RX300 w/ AWD

Shop manual says to bleed brake system through 4 wheels only, even after working on ABS unit. Does not mention any procedure to flush/bleed ABS unit. I believe ABS does not get completey flushed using shop manual procedure because after replacing blue with amber fluid, fluid reservoir becomes blue after ABS system is activated.

What is the best way to completely flush brake fluid?

Elevate the car, start the engine, in gear, drive the rear/front wheels, step on the brakes.

AWD....I have no idea.

AWD 99 Flush the system as normal rr,rl,fr,fl The ABS excessive is pumped back into the main resevoir, but you do not bleed it. It is not under pressure, but still in a closed line at that point since it bypassed the system via the solenoid. Just pretend that you have no ABS. In order to completely remove the old fluid, you would have to drain the line from the abs bypass to the master cy., not really worth the effort...but if you really wanted to then you would need to activate the system repeadedly to flush new fluid into the bypasss and line to the master cyl.
