lexuseng Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Have a 2001 GS 300 and the sound and light notification when I lock the door with the remote no longer works. It does work to unlock the door but not locking. Tried both keys so it is not the remote. The panic part works too. I disconnnected the battery to see maybe if it would reset itself. No luck. SKperformance Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 It was a serious question as some may think something always has done something one way then think it stopped but it may not have always been there. The main reason why i say this is that you can have some features disabled to work to owner specs. If it did indeed change for no reason it would be an alarm ecu issue as it is not sending the signal to the MPX bus system to the signals and beeping siren.
