daveyboy377 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hello, I'm new to the site, this is probably my first or second post since I joined a while back. I have a 2002 LS430, a beautiful car, I want to know the largest rim/wheel fitment I could size on this car. I'm looking for an aftermarket wheel and tire combo to compliment the car perfectly, perhaps a Davin streetspin, etc. Regardless, I've done my research and know that this car has larger than typical brake calipers and I haven't been able to find any posts or google results from anyone upsizing wheels for this car. The stock wheels are very nice...so basically, just curious has anyone tried upsizing, know anyone who has, or have an idea what offset/wheel diameter plus tire has/would work. Tks in advance.
steviej Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 you can go as big as you want, but be prepared to cut or flare the fenders. However, if you go to www.tirerack.com and spend some time there. They will list the largest suggested size that you would be capable of without altering the speedometer or doing any body work. You can also view what the different wheels will look like on your car in your color. Also read the section on plus sizing to understand the tire sizes that will best fit your vehicle other than the stock size. steviej
