  1. I should have taken some pics but it isnt too hard to get to. Take off the lower black piece of plastic, then the next part opf the lower dash thats held in with some 10mm bolts, drop it down. I had to check the temp sensor to see if it came undone. It was filthy with dust and I had to clean it hoping this was the fix. But it didnt do anything to fix the problem. And the servo is working on drivers side so Im lost. I even talked to the lexus mechanic and he couldnt figure it out without having to pay them to look into it. Do the sun sensors come out easy? I dont think it could be them, its got to be a blend door not opening fully. LOST AND COLD!
  2. Thanks for that post, thats just what I did but all were working. I noticed you didnt do the drivers side servo. Were you having cold temps on the passenger side? I too think its would be a servo but I need to know which one makes it hot on the drivers side. When adjusting the temp down on drivers side the inside air servo opens and the driver side servo closes and it did the opposite for making the temp hotter but it would not be hot air out of the vents. I want to replace the right servo and try that but not sure which one? Any help?
  3. Awesome post very detailed. I did exactly what you said but all my servos were fully opening and closing. I noticed you only did the passenger side servos what does the drivers side servo do. I have cold air on drivers side still, I think it would be a servo but all appeared to work. Im freezing my butt off in MN while my passenger is hot. I would think the servo on the drivers side would be the one I need to replace? But I dont know for sure, anyone know?
  4. I checked the 3 on the passenger side and the one on the drivers side. The sensors wouldnt cause this because Im using auto temp, I manually keep it on hi heat and its still off on the drivers side. I saw each servo work and even tried forcing it shut or open more but it was opened or closed. I checked the coolant level it was fine. I felt the heater core tubes going in and out and they were burning hot. This sucks its cold in MN man!
  5. I checked all four servos and they are all working properly with no noise but I am still much cooler on the drivers side? What else should I look for? All servos closed and opened just fine and I can make them cooler on the drivers side but wont get much hotter than 68 degrees Id guess. Any other suggestions?
  6. I need instructions too for my 1998 GS400 drivers side servo. Thanks
  7. So my amp went out, no sound, no lights on nav screen for sound, So I finally found the amp in the rear and unplug the power cable then boom amp works full sound light up on the nav screen. I think its fixed then turn car off and it doesnt work again, so I unplug amp power and works again. What should I do, its not a loose connection its more like a relay isnt working to turn on amp? anyone have some advice? Thanks
  8. I just took my cd changer out and took it apart, 4 cds stuck, I dont see how this works. Does the laser pickup move or is it fixed in the center. The changer is shot, and now my ML amp must be out because no sound. This sucks, and I cany find the amp, I see the nav unit in trunk but dont see an amp? Anyone have pics. I have 2002 LS430 with nav and ML

  10. I have 22" wheels on my LS430 and I just banged the metal where it rubbed. It barely rubbed at all but noticed a few wear marks on the plastic wheel well and banged on them with a hammer. Fixed it. I think theres a pic of my car on here.
  11. I have the same problem in my LS430. The cd changer wont work at all. Cost $500 to exchange at dealer. RIPOFF. I guess I wont use CD's. I'd rather get a IPOD direct connect for less money then that.
