cmshoot Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Recently sold my '99 Jeep Wrangler and bought a 2000 Lexus LS400 Platinum Edition (what a switch!). It's in really good shape and I'm just doing a general "tidying up" job on it. 1. It has factory 7 spoke 16" wheels with a plastic center pieces (they look to be just over 2" in diameter) with the Lexus logo on them. The centerpieces look like crap and I would like to replace them. Anyplace to get them other than the dealership? It would be great if I could find some replacements that were aluminum instead of plastic, but if not I'll take some new OEM plastic ones. 2. It seems to have a bit more roll to it than I expected. Is this normal? What do y'all recommend for a suspension set up that's tighter than factory but won't break the bank? 3. How 'bout a replacement driver's side visor? 4. I need to have the GPS system upgraded, or updated, or whatever they call it. Is there anyplace to get this done other than the dealership (they want $275)? Thanks for the help.
SKperformance Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Only the dealer can update your hard drive for the nav.
cmshoot Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Got a set of 4 centerpieces, brand-new-still-in-the-wrap, off ebay for $15 plus shipping for all 4. They came in today and are perfect.
