amf1932 Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 If you pop open the hood on an ES350 you'll see a plastic cover that covers most everything in the engine compartment. In the owners manual they tell you how to remove it, but my question is, what kind of tool is required to do this job....without destroying the clips that hold it in? Is there some sort of tool to release these clips?
amf1932 Posted June 25, 2006 Author Posted June 25, 2006 Never mind.......here's the correct answer I got from another message board. If the clips are the same as my GX, you simply push the center of the clip down and then just pull the whole clip out. Simple. To reinsert, you just pull the center pin of the clip out past the center position, place the clip into the hole and then just push the center pin down till its flush.
steviej Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 sounds like the same pushpin clips that hold the splash guard on underneath my 02. steviej
